Country Brook Homeowner’s Association (CBHA) was established in the late ’80s. The purpose of the organization is to maintain 10 acres of Common Area that the City of Elgin wanted set aside as “green space”. Rather than the City incurring the ongoing costs of maintaining these areas, they instead required that the neighborhood itself pay these costs. In addition to maintaining the common areas, the CBHA must also maintain the required insurances and Governmental filings.
